About

Who am I

I’m Edan Maor, an Israeli web entrepreneur and programmer currently working on my own software company (visit the company site at www.yenhq.com).

This blog is the place where I talk about anything and everything I find interesting in my day-to-day life. My main interests are software and entrepreneurship, and everything else that goes with it.

Some history

I’ve been programming since the age of 12, when I first started learning QBasic. At the age of 18, I took the IDF’s “Mamram” programming course for 6 months, after which I served as a programmer in the IDF for 6 years. For the first three years I programmed mostly embedded systems (in C and C++). The following 3 years, I lead a QA team in charge of testing various embedded systems, as well as creating an automated testing framework written in Python.

What am I doing now?

Nowadays, I’m hard at work fulfilling my dream of starting my own web software startup.
